Have you ever here about “Water Footprint” No Worries ! Let me make you understand this by an example…..
Do you know for making a single A4 size paper about 2-13 litres of water is required, technically it called as it’s water footprint. Even excluding other subsidies.
So, can’t we take an initiative towards “Paperless India” as similar as we already have encouraged “Digital India”. Though, I’ve suggested you for not using Ebooks on Mobile phones and requested for waiting next generation display that is OLED, on my another blog.
But, here I’m going to share with you few tips & tricks which are going to make you smart, advance, technical, & tech-friendly without affecting your eyes…………..
- Take e-tickets in place of of i-tickets always : If you’ve reserved your tickets for your journey by train, flight, buses or any other transport facilities. Never go through its print (i-tickets) just use your mobile ticket i.e e-ticket. This will save paper, promote digital transaction and ultimately reduce you water footprint.
- UTS : It’s interesting to share this information with you that in India, population of passengers traveling by train is somewhat equal to the popular of some countries.
If they all start using UTS: which is an innovative mobile application for Unreserved Tickets; this will reduce considerable water footprint of not an passengers but an India as well…

- Audio Books : For ebooks we ought to wait for next generation OLED (eye protection feature is not enough). But Y !
We can opt for Audio Books in place of paperback books( novels, non-fiction & This will share great contribution on Paperless India.
