Future public transport system would be automatic & AI based and aesthetically so beautiful that it would not cause any kinds of traffic problems, accidents and jetlagging experience. The day will day is not so far, when private car ownership would drop by many-folds because, public transport would be far better, safer, traffic free, economic and pleasant. The car ownership would be just kind of hobby or luxury not a necessary. In b/w, this is a harsh reality that, jobs of gig-workers working in the taxi & delivery services will collapse but it would give birth to new category of jobs. AI & UAV based goods delivery system will not only make faster delivery of the product but also it will bring a revolution in farm produce, fresh and perishable food products delivery system. The big Q. is, do we replace the existing roadways and railways network? that is not judicial. Though, we will integrate the existing roadways, railways, airways and waterways with the evolving future transport system. This isn’t it, we too will integrate the nature, ecology and ergonomics with it. Because, with years of experiences, we have learnt to take care of nature and ergonomics in design before bringing any kind of revolution on the planet.

Since, journey is not just a traveling from one place to another every-time and for everyone this is an pleasing experience and exploration to the new places and paths for many people. And, to meet this expectation of the passengers, there would also be ask for slow & pleasant moving vehicles in the coming times and to make it happen the transport industry need to work on creation of a wonderful, appealing, breadth purifying environment around the pathways and there the agriculture technologies will be playing greater role to create Avenue of beautiful trees and variety of shrubs and vertical farming plants.

That day, people will have the choice to choose the roadways, railways, airways or waterways as per their wish. Because, there are some people who choose to travel, some want to fly and some love to dive into the deep water, all will come true in the era of future mobility.

I believe, one day we’ll be able to solve all the flood and drought problems by our visionary River Inter-linking Project this project not only will solve the flood and drought problem but also will bring the revolution in navigation and water transport sector. This isn’t it, we still haven’t taken a dive into transportation through irrigation canals, this may be another chapter of navigation and transportation.

Today, the eCommerce industry had changed the game of demand and supply market. Replacement policy, power of making uncountable choices, personalized recommendation and descriptive catalogue and presentation of the product led it into new heights. Delivery of products is impressive, economic and proven the fact that, going to the market or mall for buying most of the product is not a better option. Faster delivery mechanism of Cloud Kitchen platforms like Pizzahut, Domino’s, Zomato, Swiggy etc. are also changing the game of kitchen and baking industry.

But, the sector, which really need and thirsty to evolve is agriculture. The farm produce & perishable food delivery mechanism is on demand. And, the hunger of fresh and organic farm produce will increase in exponential order because of the emerging science of Biohacking and people’s little off from Baked, processed, fried products and non-vegetarian & vegan turn and trend.

On the other hand, every farm produce can not be grown everywhere and if grown it loses its inherent characteristics (e.g. India has 15 different agro-climatic zones). To understand how weak our farm produce storage and logistics system is lets go into the statistics…

Around 30-40 % of total production gets waste at various levels of the supply chain which amounts to a loss of Rs. 2 Lakh crore per annum [1]. This is analogus to flood and drought problem of India, there are some regions which faces drought at same time some other regions might be facing flood problems and river inter-linking has potential to solve it out. The same is with fresh farm produce, at the one corner or time the price of tomato is Rs. 80/kg and at the another corner or time it becomes Rs. 1/kg. The all is because of poor logistics and storage system. I strongly believe, future faster, UAV and AI based logistics and delivery mechanism will solve this problem forever. And, then we’ll have the fortune to taste the GI-tagged farm produce from any corner of India. And, this is how we’ll be able to upscale the economic status of farming community, the community which is backbone of our country from generations.

I look far, imagine the day when buyers would have the live 3D excess to the growing food on the farmer’s farm and he will have the power to buy it in real time and catch its delivery within an hour. The farmer would also have the rights to set dynamic pricing of his/her produce and set an offer based on the statistics of real time demand and supply chain. The food parks and processing units would also be integral part of the mechanism. Farmer’s, processing industries and fresh produce consumer’s all would be linked in the same blockchain and will run dynamic demand & supply mechanism and logistics in real time, that would be the new-edge revolution in agriculture.
