Pankaj Thakur is currently working at the National Institute of Hydrology, IIT Roorkee. He has been a studious student in his early studies who secured AIR 25 in AIEEA PG 2018 and did his masters from India’s leading Agriculture University. During his college studies, he started his blogging site and became a Freelance Blogger. His journey of life up to his late 20s gave him exposure to many states of India and abroad. He is a voracious reader who has consumed dozens and dozens of fiction and non-fiction. His keen observation and humorous nature made him skilled to shunt emotions with words. He published his first quotebook “Life Encampments” in the year 2021 which is a wonderful collection of 48 lifelong learning quotes. His life encountered so many emotional ruptures and imbalances which devastated him for a period of time but later turned him into a fiction addict author.
An Unplayed Game is his first-ever work of fiction. This is a small fable of a studious guy, Chetan Thakur whose life takes him from the world of sapiosexuality to the river of love which had its tributaries as infatuation, desire, sex, cheating, ghosting and healing. This all starts when a girl, Shilpi Srivastava came to his place of study with her younger sister to get admission to his institute.
Prof. Thakur is an assistant professor at one of the renowned institutions of Punjab in the dept. of Agricultural Engineering. He has Post Graduation in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering from India’s most renowned agriculture university (Pantnagar). He looks at the world from a different angle.
